Hi Dan / Will
Ok you asked for it :
I absolutely love Mangoes but I can never cut them into a hedgehog shape the way professionals do it !!! I need a demo on how to dissect these properly as inevitably I peel the skin then slice the flesh away from the stone …. but never able to get a hedgehog shape …. help …. please !
PS: Pancake demo looks brilliant – although I don’t have speakers! Will needs to smile a bit though and the cameraman needs to stop shaking so much.
I’m not a pancake fan, but Will’s pancake did look pretty tasty.
Loving your pancake recipe. Tell me, what other delicious toppings would you recommend for pancakes and would you use the same mix for yorkshire puds?
I love Banana’s and Toffee Sauce with a dollop of home made Vanilla Ice Cream!
Not ideal for Yorkshire pudding as needs more eggs to make it RISE!
Cheers Dan
There’s always one!
The first thing you are doing wrong is skinning the mango! you cut the mango either side of the stone and then score the flesh both ways, turn it inside out and you have a hedgehog… well the effect, I cannot create miracles…
If you bring a Mango along on Wednesday when we are cooking for SJA, I will show you!
Cheers Dan
Fantastic! We will try this in the office
you make it look so easy!!!!!!
I’ve just had this playing in the kitchen and I can say my pancakes were perferct!
