Dan finds magical coffee near Petworth… The Coffee Fairy!

I had a lunch appointment in Midhurst last Friday and on the way decided to stop at one of our venues we cater at called Grittenham Barn near Petworth, they were having a Christmas Fare. I am so glad I stopped even though the torrential rain made it interesting driving down the lane to the barn.
I was staggered by the amount of people that were there, it was great to see. The barn was packed with private sellers, all kinds of items for sale from luxury jumpers to hand made kids clothes, Jewels and of course the Coffee Fairy!
I was attracted to the stand firstly as they were serving coffee and secondly the branding… it looked amazing! very cool and very original for a coffee company. I met Martina who runs the Coffee Fairy… she is delightful… she offered me to taste the coffee which gladly accepted! To be honest I was not expecting much but I was gladly surprised…. I tried the Dark Roast and it was exceptional… Smooth (NOT BITTER… its not meant to be!) Rich and full of flavour, in fact it was one of the nicest cup of coffee’s I have tasted in a long time….
We then chatted away for a while about coffee and how and where its produced which is a fantastic story in its self please visit there website www.thecoffeefairy.com and read all about it…
On departing I bought a hand painted coffee mug with some coffee and agreed that Red Anywhere would be buying the coffee from January and would also wave the flag for the Coffee Fairy in Sussex!
I am so glad I visited Grittenham, you just don’t know what you will find when least expecting it!
Well done to Sally and Paul (owners of Grittenham) for putting on such a stunning fare!
