The First Exclusive Dining Club Evening

Posted in General, News on November 11th, 2008 | 1 Comment

What a night! Exquisite Food, Fine Wine & Great Company.

Red Anywhere has just launched its Exclusive Dining Club where members are invited to come together and enjoy a 7 course taster menu along with beautiful hand-picked wines and a brief talk on a relevant subject, whether it be Wines, Cheese or Chocolate.

Daniel Clarke, Master Chef of Great Britain started the evening off by introducing himself & his team, explaining a bit about the evening and welcoming Colin Bradshaw, our guest speaker.

Before each course was served Dan entered the room and explained to the guests what the next dish was and what inspired Dan to create it and serve it that evening. Whilst the Red Team served the course, Red’s very own wine supplier Colin Bradshaw, Owner of Sussex Victuallers gave a short and sweet explanation about the wine being served with that course; what grape was used, where it was produced, its age and most importantly alcohol percentage.

The dessert wine that was served with the pre-dessert had an alcohol percentage of 15.4 however, it complimented the delicious Chocolate Mousse superbly, maybe a little to well!

An excellent Port was then served with the Cheese course, which was a Cornish Yarg - Dan chose this cheese as it was actually made in the village in Cornwall where he grew up.

We then progressed on to coffees and left time for a little social networking between the guests. I even got a chance to have a small tipple at the end of the evening and spend time with our guests, which was very enjoyable.

The evening was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all…

“it was awesome last night, food was unbelievable, service delivered with perfection, wine like nothing tasted before, and I can’t wait to the next one”..

Thanks for a great night last night. The food and wine were excellent and the great atmosphere you created made it really enjoyable”

“GREAT night! I felt like a king, Thank you”

Red Anywhere Celebrate in Style - The Town House Arundel!

Posted in News on October 30th, 2008 | No Comments

After Scooping 3 awards at Arun Business of the Year Awards & the first prize ‘Business of the Year Award’ on Thursday night, Red Anywhere and all the staff celebrated in style at an exclusive restaurant in Arundel, The Town House.

With a Master Chef as part of your party it’s hard to find a good quality restaurant in West Sussex where you can enjoy excellent food, good wine and superb service. Luckily Dan knew about the stunning restaurant ‘The Town House’ situated in the heart of Arundel so we made our way there in high spirits.

The Head Chef & Owner, Lee Williams cooked us all an outstanding meal which was accompanied with great wine & fantastic service. A few dishes served up included Seared Foie Gras with Grape Chutney & Toasted Ricotta Bread, Noisette of Lamb with Spinach, Caramelised Shallots and Confit Potatoes and to finish I indulged in a delicious Chocolate Fondant with Caramel Ice Cream.

The food in my opinion was absolutely amazing and I am already thinking about when I will be returning! Thanks to Lee for a fantastic evening of great food and service and for daring to cook for a Master Chef of Great Britain!

If you would like to dine at a restaurant good enough for a master chef then why not take a look at their website www.thetownhouse.co.uk

RED Anywhere Scoops Four Awards at Arun Business Partnership Event

Posted in General, News on October 17th, 2008 | 4 Comments

Andy Gamble (Red Anywhere Director), Adam Stafford (Fresh Egg MD), Dan Clarke (Creative Chef Red Anywhere)

RED Anywhere has won three category awards and the coveted Overall Business of the Year award at the 2008 Arun Business Partnership’s “Business of the Year Awards” ceremony held October 16th. No other company has ever gained that many award nominations and wins in the entire history of the event!

In all, we won the New Business of the Year, Website of the Year and Business In Education awards as well as being declared Overall Business of the Year 2008.

The Arun Business Partnership Awards event is the highlight of the business year for the area. The Partnership began life 10 years ago in 1998 as the Littlehampton Business Partnership, established to bring local businesses together for the common good. After four years of productive networking and learning, the Partnership expanded to include Bognor Regis and In December 2006, Arundel officially joined the Partnership and the full Arun Business Partnership was born.

Facilitated by the Economic Development Team from Arun District Council, Partnership meetings have no formal structure or agenda - they deal with the issues of the moment that are important to member companies. The Partnership aims to establish strategic links with local education providers, companies and private/public sector organisations that can help businesses grow.

We thought we stood a good chance of getting a couple of awards, but to get more “gold medals” than anyone has got before is very pleasing! It’s thanks to the hard work of our staff and our partners that we’ve come this far in so short a time. We’re delighted to have won New Business and Overall Business of the Year and the Business in Education award is especially pleasing. Forging links with local schools, colleges and the community at large is very important to us. The Website of the Year award is also great recognition of the fact that, as our business is entirely based online, our site has got to be good – and it is thanks to the excellent work of Fresh Egg!

Thanks to everyone involved in last night, our partners and all our customers who’ve given us the chance to showcase what we can do! Next year let’s hope we can do the catering at the event as well!
