I visited a blogging seminar last week hosted by Fresh Egg at the Brighton Metrolpole Hotel. The day was to educate and give us all vital knowledge and confidence to learn the power and importance of blogging on our sites.

I had only started blogging about 3 weeks ago when are new site went live which was designed by Fresh Egg, I never really knew how and why blogging was important. For me as a chef it’s really great to be able to add information that people can use any time of the day no matter where or what I am doing!

I can post Hints and Tips, Recipes, Latest News and also what Red Anywhere are up to!

The Day was kicked off by an introduction by Adam Stafford MD of Fresh Egg and he quickly handed over to Lee (SEO Director) who set all our minds doing overtime with his depth of knowledge and the sheer experience in Blogging amongst other things!!

We then heard from Ammon who is a SEO Strategist… yep i have no idea what that is either! he gave us all advice and tips to how powerful the blog can be and how many companies use this tool and see it as one of their most powerful marketing and advertising solution. Ammon talked about how everyone and anyone can blog and with some very simple and basic rules you can be reaching millions of people who may want to tap into your market and hear about your company and what it has to offer, this was really exciting and highly motivating to hear!

We then heard from Tony a Senior SEO engineer at Fresh Egg, he explained in simple terminology how to actually use the blog and how to write and make your blog interesting and catchy but not to lengthy…. how am I doing?

Overall the day was a real success and really enjoyable, my head was bursting with ideas of what and how to blog more effectively in the future…..

I will be blogging regularly now with Recipes, Tips and the latest news in and around the catering industry, keep reading…..
